Job Summary:
The Clinical Services Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Clinical Services department ensuring high-quality patient care. This role provides leadership and support to patient-care staff, coordinates daily clinical operations, develops policies and procedures, and collaborates with providers and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership/Management
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate patient-care staff at multiple sites, including nurses, medical assistants, medical scribes and the Clinical Services Manager.
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new hires, and ensure they receive proper orientation and training.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with providers and leadership to support clinic goals and initiatives.
Clinical Operations
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and assignments to meet clinic demands.
- Assist with complex patient care needs as required.
- Monitor and improve quality and safety standards of care delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and clinic operations.
- Address and resolve patient and staff concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Quality and Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics
- Support compliance with state and federal requirements.
Education and Staff Development
- Provide ongoing training, education, and competency assessments for patient-care staff.
- Promote professional growth and continuing education opportunities.
- Lead regular staff meetings to ensure consistent communication and collaboration.
The Clinical Services Nurse Manager will be cross-trained in the duties of their direct reports (including pump refills), allowing them to be a resource in these areas and step in to assist when needed (on-the-job training provided).
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience.
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Active RN licensure in Minnesota.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a clinic and office setting. This position is 100% in-office due to the nature of the responsibilities.

Compensation & Work Schedule:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week.
- Exempt.
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday.
